Welcome to the official home of the Swansea Summer Ball. After the return of the ball last summer from the enforced hiatus and the madness of Covid, it's time to  continue to dance again. For one day only Abbey meadow and the surrounding areas are completely transformed. To celebrate the end of the year and the start of summer, your Students’ Union finally bring you SSB23.

Multiple arenas filled with the biggest artists (announcements incoming) to keep you dancing ‘til the early hours. You can expect – huge stages with the best sound systems available, pyrotechnics, lasers, visuals, confetti cannons and giant themed decorations. We are also the only Students’ Union in the UK to offer a funfair with FREE rides all day!

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Redbull, VK, Coors Southern Comfort and many more to keep you refreshed throughout the day. We’ll have all your favourite drinks at student friendly prices. Hungry? Head to one of our delicious street food vendors, with loads of variety on offer you’re sure to find something you fancy.

SSB is the biggest Summer Ball in the country, with 5000 swansea students in attendance.
